The utter inescapability of vampire-related books, movies, TV shows, and so on implies that there actually are vampires out there somewhere and I just haven't met one yet.
So I think it's time for a scenario that ponders what kinds of public-policy moves the recognition of Vampire-Americans would require.
Oh wait, someone's already done it.
